1939: Manufacturers, National Association Of

The National Association of Manufacturers is an association organized in 1895 for the purpose of promoting and protecting the interests of American manufacturers. A membership of 7,000 was reported in 1939 and the president was H. W. Prentis. Headquarters are at 14 West 49th Street, New York City, and Noel Sargent is secretary.
