1939: Knights Templar, Grand Commandery

A fraternal order whose object is to assist in promulgating the story of Christ and the Christian religion. The Order in 1939 had a membership of 18,127. Among other benevolent activities it operates a revolving loan fund for education from which in 1939 it loaned $43,782 to New York students. Grand Commander is W. R.
